Monsterpocalypse – Warden of Teocali – First Guardians Monster (metal/resin)
PIP 51185
The Warden of Teocali, a towering monolith of stone and gold, was not built; he was created to end the God War with the Ancient Ones. After being knocked unconscious by the God of Vemana, the Queen of Ixmiqui had a dream in which she would build a prison in the realm of dreams. When she awoke, she rushed to the temple and began creating the Dream Stone, which she placed upon the head on a mighty titan that formed before her. Around this Warden of Teocali, ley lines flared to life, sigils of light danced across the city and stretched outside the walls, and then they vanished into the world of dreams—along with the First Guardians, the Ancients Ones, gods, and people alike. There they are trapped to forever fight out their war for eons in the place between worlds while the Warden of Teocali stands guard at the gate of reality, keeping the nightmares at bay.
Monsterpocalypse – God of Vemana – Ancient Ones Monster (metal/resin)
PIP 51186
Shaken from pole to pole, the world shuttered and roiled as the Ancient Ones and First Guardians’ God War raged on. Massive craters arose from their battles until the day they cracked the planet to its core. The earth-rending power released by the battling gods opened a fissure so deep that the planet itself was wounded. From her slumber, the earth mother, Vemana, was awakened, her gaze locked on the Queen of Ixmiqui, whose unnatural power had been stolen from the elements of the sun and lightning. Vemana fell upon the Queen of Ixmiqui like a landslide, knocking the Queen unconscious before continuing her rage.
Monsterpocalypse – Gargoyle Monoliths and Temple Monoliths – First Guardians Units (metal)
PIP 51187
Unmoving for eons, Gargoyle Monoliths spend most their lives asleep. Easily mistaken for ornamentation on high walls and buildings, these stone birds fortify any building they occupy, acting as cornerstones in the First Guardians forces by helping them take and hold ground from the enemy. Their flightless counterparts, the Temple Monolith, are sacred relics, created by the Master of Xolotl to act as custodians over his temples and to ensure they are never in ill repair, even in times of war.
Monsterpocalypse – Shamblers and Bramble Hunters – Ancient Ones Units (metal)
PIP 51188
The earth mother’s fury extends to the fauna and flora, corrupting and twisting the vines and trees into spiteful weapons. The Bramble Shamblers are carnivorous plants with dragon-like heads. If left unattended, these weeds sprout into terrifying monsters, sometimes when least expected. Bramble Hunters are fully evolved Shamblers with predatory instincts that aren’t for food and survival; instead, they are compelled by a need to exterminate life in order to restore balance to the earth mother in her rage. Once they find their target, they shower them with thorns projected and rapid speeds. Once they connect, they can infect the target and take over its host completely.
